The Great Rann of Kutch is a salt marsh in the Thar Desert in the Kutch District of Gujarat, India. It is about 7500 km2 in area and is reputed to be one of the largest salt deserts in the world. This area has been inhabited by the Kutchi people. The Gujarati word Rann and Sindhi word Rinn are derived from the Sanskrit/Vedic word iriṇa, meaning the salt flat or barren ground, attested in the Rigveda and Mahabharata. It is the southern extension of the Thar Desert.

Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as Sasan Gir, is a national park and wildlife sanctuary in Gujarat, India. It was established in 1965 in the erstwhile Nawab of Junagarh's private hunting area, with a total area of 1,410.30 km2, of which 258.71 km2 is fully protected as a national park and 1,151.59 km2 as wildlife sanctuary. It is part of the Khathiar-Gir dry deciduous forests ecoregion. The 14th Asiatic Lion Census 2015 conducted in May 2015 noted the population as 523.

Rani ki Vav is a stepwell situated in the town of Patan in Gujarat, India. It is located on the banks of the Saraswati River. Its construction is attributed to Udayamati, the spouse of the 11th-century Chaulukya king Bhima I. Silted over, it was rediscovered in the 1940s and restored in the 1980s by the Archaeological Survey of India. It has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India since 2014.

The Statue of Unity is the world's tallest statue, with a height of 182 metres, located in Narmada valley, near Kevadia in the state of Gujarat, India. It depicts Indian politician and independence activist Sardar Patel, who was the first deputy prime minister and home minister of independent India. Patel played a significant role in the political integration of India. The statue is on the Narmada River in the Kevadiya colony, facing the Sardar Sarovar Dam, 100 kilometres southeast of the city of Vadodara.

It is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites, or Tirtha Kshetra for Hindus and is the first among the twelve jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. The date of construction of the earliest Somnath temple remains uncertain, with estimates varying between the early centuries of the 1st millennium and about the 9th century CE.

Dwarka is a coastal town and municipality of Devbhumi Dwarka district in the Indian state of Gujarat. It is located on the western shore of the Okhamandal Peninsula on the right bank of the Gomti River at the mouth of the Gulf of Kutch facing the Arabian Sea. Dwarka has the Dwarkadhish Temple dedicated to Krishna, which is one of four sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites called the Chardham founded by Adi Shankaracharya at the four corners of the country.

Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located in Panchmahal district in Gujarat, India. It is centered around the historic city of Champaner, which was founded by Vanraj Chavda, the most prominent king of the Chavda Dynasty, in the eighth century. He named it after his friend and general, Champa, also known later as Champaraj. The heritage site contains forts with bastions starting from the hills of Pavagadh, and extending into the city of Champaner.
